This research aimed to study the effect of learning by apperception learning to read the Qur’an and self-efficacy on Students’ Mathematical Reasoning Ability. This research was carried out in senior high school in Kembangan District, West Jakarta. This research is in class XI in two schools, senior high school Sumpah Pemuda and Budi Murni. The method used in this study is experimental. The sample consisted of 60 students (30% of the population) taken by simple random sampling technique. The experimental group was XI class in senior high school Sumpah Pemuda or 30 students, and the control group was XI class in senior high school Budi Murni or 30 students. Data on mathematical reasoning abilities were collected using a test of ten essay questions and self-efficacy with a questionnaire consisting of 35 items. Data analysis in this study used ANOVA by first testing for normality and homogeneity. The results showed: (1) There was a significant influence on learning to read Al-Quran on students’ mathematical reasoning ability in senior high school; and (2) has a considerable impact on self-efficacy on students’ mathematical reasoning ability in senior high school. (3) There is no interaction effect of apperception learning to read the Qur’an and self-efficacy on students’ mathematical reasoning ability.
