The introduction of online learning causes many learning difficulties, especially in physics. One approach suggested is the use of a Video Conceptual Understanding Coach (VCUC). The goal of the research is to determine the impact of the use of VCUC on understanding concepts. This single case analysis of the AB model included 3 high school students. The open-ended test is the key instrument in this study. Student conceptual understanding data were obtained before and after the use of VCUC. The results showed an improvement in the understanding of the principle of friction force as a result of learning with the aid of VCUC. A wider study is required to further analyze the effects of the use of VCUC.
