One of the products of the 2013 curriculum is the Semester Credit System in High Schools. The learning process is packaged in the form of Semester Credit System prepared to facilitate students to be able to learn in accordance with their respective learning speeds. The teaching tool used in implementing the Semester Credit System is by preparing the Independent Learning Activity(ILA). In its preparation, there is still a need for improvement because the preparation in the ILA is only in the form of sample questions and exercises. An alternative solution that can be done to improve the quality of learning in the classroom is to create an ILA based on Guided Discovery Learning that can increase student activity in discovering mathematical concepts independently. Based on this, the researchers developed a Guided Discovery Learning ILA based on Function material for the tenth grader. Based on the results of development research, ILA was declared valid, effective, and practical.
