The paper considers the problem of determining non-stationary temperature field during welding tapping saddles to polyethylene gas pipeline at low temperatures during repair and restoration operations in pipeline with gas pressure. Technology for welding tapping saddle to polyethylene pipe at low temperatures in conditions of gas movement with negative temperature inside the pipe is proposed based on calculations. Results of determining technological parameters of welding are given.
