This research focused on developing Augmented Reality applications in a geophysical encyclopedia. The marker image used is stone images. This study emphasizes on visualize 3D objects successfully appear in the Augmented Reality camera application that was developed so that the learning process using a geophysical encyclopedia based on Augmented Reality can be implemented. The designing object follows the development step and gets the assessment from the media expert. Based on the quantitative assessment, the object and the application get 93.75% points, which indicates the application was very good. The media experts also give some suggestions qualitatively for the object improvement. The result shows that this application can be used as an attachment for explaining the geophysical concept in the encyclopedia.
