The description of a new type of training activities "Computational - graphic practice", aimed at consolidating the knowledge and skills acquired by students in the study of basic engineering disciplines and bridging the gap in training students in the field of life cycle information support technologies, is presented. The goals, objectives and program of practice are formulated, as well as the competencies that a student should have after completing the practice are listed.
