The paper presents a research of the interaction of lactic and formic acids with a carbon nanotube and a hydroxyapatite molecule, shows the possibility of using CNTs as a protection of tooth enamel from exposure to aggressive acids and describes the results of the established geometric and electron-energy characteristics of the processes of the interaction of hydroxyapatite with acids. Theoretical calculations were performed using the molecular cluster model and the quantum-chemical MNDO method.
