In this work, we consider resonant anapole state of an electric dipole in a dielectric spherical particle. The analytical expression that describes the minimum size parameter of a resonant state at a given refractive index of the scatterer was shown. Using Cartesian multipole decomposition, we reveal the resonant anapole state does consist of the basic electric dipole and a minimum contribution of 7 resonant toroidal moments. It was shown that the presence of vortex- like configurations indicates the appearance of toroidal moments in the scattering spectra. Interestingly, with the correct description of electric dipole anapole state, increasing number of singularities in the near-field region that is associated with the increase of refractive index doesn’t change the minimum set of toroidal moments.
