The comparative analysis of possibilities is conducted on the increase of faultlessness of work of wares due to the mixed backup with renewal. At the same time, one should remember that all structural elements using for backup differ from each other, including the intensity of failure flows. Models of functioning of the compared products in the form of systems of differential equations are constructed; their solutions on the basis of which calculation programs for construction of functions of reliability of products and their definition are developed.
