A series of nickel cadmium ferrite nanoparticles synthesized using one step auto combustion technique. The magnetic properties of these synthesized samples determined using Zero Field NMR and the Vibrating sample Magnetometry techniques. The plot of NMR as a function frequency exhibits two peaks corresponding to the octahedral (A) and the tetrahedral (B) sites of the Fe3+ ions. A qualitative correlation is found between the saturation magnetization obtained from VSM and the spin echo signal amplitude measured at the B-site from the NMR. This could be explained by considering the behavior the domains to the applied external magnetic field and the radiofrequency field (rf enhancement in the ferrimagnetic materials).
