Easy, quick and cheap methods were used to estimation for Paracetamol (PAR) whether pure form, pharmaceutical forms. The basis of these methods is oxidation of (PAR) In acidic medium there are known amounts of oxidizing agent “KBr: KBrO3”, And the remaining (unreacted) amounts interact with: (A) Phenosafranine (PS) dye, the scientific name for this dye is [3,7-Diamino-5-phenylphenazin-5-ium chloride] to give a red output at λmax. 520 nm. It was a linear extent at the range of concentrations (6-72) “µg/ml” and molar absorptivity 2.434×103 “l/mol.cm”, the value of the correlation coefficient was 0.9993 and the detection limit value was 0.443 “µg/ml”. (B) Crystal Violet (CV) dye, the scientific name for this dye is [4 [bis [4 (dimethylamino) phenyl] methylidene] cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-ylidene]-dimethylazanium; chloride to give a blue output at λmax. 634 nm. It was a linear extent at the range of concentrations (15-175) “µg/ml” and molar absorptivity 1.073×103 “l/mol.cm”, the value of the correlation coefficient was 0.9993 and the detection limit value was 0.346 “µg/ml”. These proposed methods have been successfully applied to estimate Paracetamol in pharmaceutical form of tablets.
