The objective of this paper is to get an approximate solution for Lane-emden and Emden-Fowler initial and boundary value problems. For this, we used the Optimal Homotopy Asymptotic Method (OHAM) which is a semi-analytical method. OHAM Results show the eÂğectiveness and reliability of OHAM for Lane-Emden and Emden-Fowler initial and boundary value problems. The results we obtained are compared to the exact solutions, homotopy perturbation method (HPM), Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM) and Variational Iteration Method (VIM).
