An approach to the estimation of the electrical conductivity of filled polymers based on a complex of texture parameters of the macrostructure image is suggested using image transformation into a binary form based on models of color space analysis. Suitability of the suggested complex of texture parameters for estimation of filled polymer properties has been experimentally proved. Possibility of individual matching of the texture parameters to a specific electrophysical characteristic for prognostic estimation is shown. Texture parameters that change monotonously along with the increase of filler concentration are revealed. It is found out that the “contrast” parameter is the most sensitive to changes of filler concentration. The characteristics of the texture pattern close in values to the electrophysical characteristics considered in the paper are revealed.
