The main task of the current school system is for pupils and students to acquire new knowledge with the purpose of finding ways for this knowledge to be applied practically. With regard to preparing pre-service teachers, it is essential there is an understanding of the importance of education in the Natural Sciences as well as how it can be applied in practice. The specific aim of this paper is to focus on the interdisciplinary character and the interconnection of science subjects. Current trends illustrate the fact that science education is changing. Education in this area involves not only the preparation of future professionals, but also includes the general preparation and education of children by qualified teachers. We would like to demonstrate the importance of the education and university education of pre-service chemistry and physics teachers with regard to Laboratory Exercises using Instrumental Methods. Instrumental methods of demonstration and verification are based on the monitoring and evaluation of selected physical properties of an analyte or a product of its chemical reaction. From experience gained it is possible to state that pre-service teachers who are talented in the field of Natural Science education, after starting work, are able to work creatively. Efforts to improve the educational process have led us to incorporate new developmental trends into the preparation of future graduates entering the teaching profession.
