In this paper, finite difference method (FDM) is proposed to find the solution of singular linear as well as non-linear Lane-Emden problem. Six test examples are taken to show the accuracy of the method. The numerical solutions are compared with the exact solution available in the literature. The comparison shows that FDM is powerful method to solve singular initial value problems.
