In this paper, we analyzed the methods of evaluating the effectiveness and calculating the cooling capacity of the temperature piles, developed an algorithm, and performed an analytical calculation of the efficiency and cooling capacity of the heat stabilizer, heat stabilizer in the sleeve, and temperature piles. Bench tests of soil heat stabilizer (SHS) and temperature pile were carried out, the experimental data were processed, the efficiency and cooling capacity of the heat stabilizer, heat stabilizer in the sleeve, and temperature pile were evaluated. According to the results of calculations and tests of the temperature pile, conclusions and recommendations for evaluating the effectiveness and refrigerating capacity of the temperature pile are formulated. A method for the numerical calculation of the cooling capacity of SHS in various modes was developed and implemented in the ANSYS software package. Analytical methods of calculating the efficiency and cooling capacity of the SHS and temperature pile are made, analytical calculations are performed for all test modes.
