The recent earthquakes have highlighted the significant seismic vulnerability of industrial steel buildings, which represent structural typologies at high risk due to their noteworthy exposure. In the paper a parametric study on a lot of European existing steel industrial buildings, placed into different geographical areas, having different geometrical dimensions and subjected to diverse crane loads, has been performed through non-linear static analyses. The results have allowed to plot vulnerability curves to be compared to seismic fragility curves derived from literature researches. The comparison among curves has allowed to estimate the effectiveness of the literature studies, as well as to evaluate the seismic damages suffered by investigated structures under different earthquake levels.
