After the 12th five-year plan and the 13th five-year plan, the sewage treatment work has become the key content of the environmental protection strategy with the national support. However, the domestic attention to the sludge disposal is low at present. With the continuous expansion of the output of feces, the output of sludge flocculated from sewage from farms also increases rapidly, which has become an important cause of agricultural pollution. Livestock and poultry manure has always been an important fertilizer resource in agricultural production, but now, the market lacks the concept of integrated sludge industry chain, and the application level of sludge resource is very low. This paper will introduce the sludge disposal background of China’s urban farms, through the analysis of the status quo of sludge disposal and the sludge disposal method, to explore the sustainable development value behind the sludge.
