The sample of pure and malachite green doped Polysulfone in the form of foil was prepared by solution cast technique. For the preparation of pure sample 3 gm of Polysulfone was dissolved in 50 ml of Dimethyl farmamide (DMF) solvent, while for the preparation of doped sample 3 mg, 5 mg and 7 mg Malachite Green was mixed with 3 gm of Polysulfone respectively. For the study of structural characterization of these pure and doped sample, Ultra-Violet Spectroscopy (UV) technique was used. PSF and MG used for the present study were supplied by Glexo Leb. Bombay. The absorption spectra were record by UV-VIS spectrophotometer 2540 in the wavelength range from 200 to 800 nm.
