8 samples of extracted teeth were examined before and after endodontic treatment of the root canals with different filling materials using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), micro cone beam computed tomography (micro CBCT) and multislice computed tomography (MSCT). Micro CBCT was highly informative in the assessment of the nature and quality of the endodontic material, the extent of its contact with the walls of the root canals was clearly visible, additional variations and properties of the root canals, multiple cracks and additional canals were diagnosed.
