The teaching of science in Thailand was aware about nature of science (NOS) in a decade. The explicit nature of science unit should be developed and shared in Thai science teachers’ community. This paper provided some ideas of the explicit nature of science for genetically modified organisms (GMOs) unit. The paper clarified the unit which was developed through the 5Es Instructional Model. Learners will be described the advantages and the disadvantages to determine about GMOs knowledge to their daily life. And, they also will be asked to reflect what they learned about some aspects of nature of science. The paper will described these learning activities with aiming to enhance students to reflect their ideas of nature of science in the GMOs Unit.
