Molecular complex of quercetin with glycyram

A new molecular complex of glycyram (GC) with quercetin (Quer) was obtained. The synthesis of Quer–GC complex was carried out in the liquid phase. The complexation was studied by ATR IR Fourier spectroscopy and method of isomolar series in the spectrophotometric version. It was shown that hydrogen bonds are formed between the components of the complex (–С=О_GC···Н–О–_Quer and –(Н)О···Н–О–). Hydrophobic contacts of GC with Quer molecules are possible.
