3-amino-5-(1H-indol-3-yl)-6-phenylpyrazine-2-carboxylic acid amides were obtained by the Taylor method, the SNH methodology, and further obtaining the amides through the corresponding acid chlorides. It is shown the formation of the unexpected product while using DCC.
