In this present work, a series of new 2-[5-arylidene)-4-oxo-3-aryl-1,3-thiazolidin-2-ylidene]-N-arylethanethioamides have been synthesized and all compounds have been characterized by spectroscopy methods. The optimization of a Knoevenagel condensation reaction conditions was carried out between 2-[4-oxo-3-aryl-1,3-thiazolidin-2-ylidene]-N-arylethanethioamides and benzaldehydes.
