Current research article examines the propagation pattern of seismic waves in a monoclinic strip between dissimilar monoclinic semi-infinite half - spaces. Velocity profile for incident/scattered seismic waves has been found analytically along with closed-form solutions for reflection/transmission angles. Velocity profiles for both the unconstrained and constrained geometries are plotted against propagation direction. The critical angle for each of the incident quasi-P and quasi-SV wave is computed and simulations are then performed to further study the effect of relevant parameters on phase velocities and deflection of all the scattered waves.
