The demand for renewable fuels increases as fossil fuels supplies decreased. Ethanol has the potential to be used as an alternative to petroleum gasoline. The performance of gasoline four-stroke spark ignition engine was analyzed using fuel grade ethanol (E96) as a replacement fuel. The pressurized air was used on the fuel injection system, and the variation of pressure from 3.2 to 4.0 bars with an interval of 0.2 was carried out through the test. The test is performed on the dynamometer roll with the rotational speed from 3000 rpm and gradually increase from 1000 rpm up to 6000 rpm. The tests were conducted to measure the torque, power and specific fuel consumption. The maximal power was obtained at a working pressure of 4.0 bar with minimal specific fuel consumption.
