This review studied the mechanical behaviors of unfilled and solid particulate filled glass fiber (GF) reinforced polymer matrix composite. Glass fiber is a light weight, significantly tough and powerful material having excellent properties like flexibility, high strength and stiffness. It can be in the form of roving’s, chopped, yarns and mats. Particulates improve the mechanical, tribological and thermal properties of polymer composite along with reduction in the cost of final product. The purpose of particulate filled glass fiber reinforced polymer composite is to enhance the properties of material through control of filler content, matrix combination and selection of fabrication methods.
