In the present investigation, the polymer hybrid composites were developed by varying the reinforcements from l5%, 30%, 45% and 60% of glass fiber and carbon fibers in 40% epoxy matrix under vacuum bag process. The composite is cured at room temperature and the post curing was done at 50 °C for 30 min, 65 °C for 45 min and 75 °C for l hour. The machinability characteristics like thrust force and delamination were determined during the drilling of glass and carbon fibers reinforced epoxy matrix hybrid composites using HSS, Titanium Coated and Carbide Tipped tools of 3 mm, 6 mm and 9 mm diameter drill bits were analyzed and a second order statistical model was developed using ANOVA for optimization of machining parameters.
