Power electronic devices make a major role in renewable energy sources, especially in solar photovoltaic systems. Sunlight into electricity by PV system and is fed to an inverter to get outputs power with lower THD. The switching sequence of the normal inverter exhibits high voltages at the output but stress is more on the device. A multilevel structure has been developed to overcome this drawback. There are many topologies in multilevel inverters like Diode-Clamped Multilevel Inverter (DCMLI), Flying-Capacitor Multilevel Inverter (FCMLI) and Cascaded Multilevel Inverter (CMLI). Compared with all the inverters, CML inverter can significantly reduce the switches like diodes and capacitors. Even more to reduce the switch count go for Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel DC-Link Inverter (CHBMLDCL). The novelty of proposed work gives quality power and higher efficiency by using Pulse width modulation (PWM) along with Artificial Intelligent Controller (AIC) technique in a closed loop system.
