In this paper, generation of electromagnetic radiation with injection into plasma of two colliding electron beams is simulated numerically with a particle-in-cell (PIC) method. Numerical models with both periodic boundary conditions and open boundaries that provide a continuous injection of the beams into a fully ionized plasma are considered. Comparisons of the results of numerical experiments obtained by the models are made.
