The paper presents the theoretical analysis of the recuperative cycle boiling pressure impact on the efficiency of the heat losses recovery system mobile compressor unit based on the Rankine cycle. The analysis was carried out on the basis of three heat carriers: water, freon R11 and ammonia. According to the study results, the Rankine cycle efficiency was shown to depend on the heat carrier relative boiling pressure. In addition, the heat carrier relative boiling pressure increase results in the fuel saving increase and therefore in the heat losses recovery system MCU efficiency improving.
