Kinetic analysis of zeolite samples from region of Nižný Hrabovec is presented in this paper. The activation energy and preexponential factor in region of physically bound water evaporation and sintering is determined. Analysis is provided on compact zeolite samples with fraction of particles less than 50 µm. Samples are prepared by mixing a zeolite powder with deionized water. After drying at room temperature for two weeks, the thermal expansion of the samples is measured using the horizontal push-rod dilatometer. Samples are studied in isothermal regime at temperatures 700 °C, 800 °C, 900 °C, 1000 °C, and 1100 °C. The relative thermal expansion was measured for a period of 2 h. Results indicate the presence of physically bound water in the zeolite structure at temperatures about 800 °C.
