Macchi This study aims composit fiberglass reinforced plastic with fiberglass. The objective is to develop a composite material with better flame retardant properties. Unsaturated polyester resin were used as matrics such as Yucalac 157 BQTN-EX and Yucalac BQTN-FR. Preparation of composite specimen was done by hand lay up method and then tested flammability. The results showed that the composite with Yucalac 157 BQTN -FR resin had better fire resistance than the Yucalac 157 BQTN-EX resin composite.
