The complex relative dielectric function ε*(ω) = ε′ − ″ of aqueous solutions of diclofenac potassium (DK) in the frequency range 20 Hz to 2 MHz at 303.15 K was measured using a precision LCR meter. The electrical/dielectric properties of the solutions samples were represented in terms of complex relative dielectric function ε*(ω) real part σ’(ω) of complex ac conductivity and dc conductivity. These types of studies can be used to explore various mechanism contributed in the absorption, transportation of drug through tissues and membranes of body as well as interactions of drug with body fluid and blood plasma.
