The DDHMS (double differential hybrid Montre Carlo simulation)model treats nucleon-induced pre-equilibrium reactions as a series of particle-hole producing nucleon-nucleon interac-tions in the space of energy and angle. Although the transition rates were calculated approximately in the original model, it is fairly simple to calculate them exactly. Here, we extend the exactcalculation to relativistic kinematics and compare theresultswiththenonrelativisticcalculationandwiththeoriginalexcitonone.
