Interest in charmonium spectroscopy has been renewed with the discovery of numerous new states in the charmonium mass range since 2002. Some of these resonances are identified as predicted conventional charmonium states, but for most candidates the exact nature is still unknown. In this text, recent results from the analyses of charmonium (χc2(2P), ηc(2S)) and charmonium-like states (X(3872)) at BaBar are presented.
