Recent results in photoproduced mesonic states Available to Purchase

The experimental situation of photoproduction of mesons containing light quarks (u,d,s) will be summarized and updated. After a motivation in terms of potential models a review on the search for radially excited vector mesons (ρ, ω, φ) will be given. A dynamical model will be presented which allows a qualitative description of inclusive meson production with respect to Feynman × delivering therefore criteria to classify the exotic or conventional nature of the δ(980) meson. A lower limit for the A₁ width is given.
