We study the nuclear matter properties in the regime of high temperatures using a relativistic mean‐field theory. Contrasting with the usual linear Walecka model [1], we include the σ‐ω meson coupling [2] in order to investigate the role of this interaction in the nucleon effective mass behavior. Some numerical results are presented and discussed.
