I thought the article1 was very informative but what surprised me is that it did not mention other very useful services by organizations such as Learning Ally (formerly Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic). This organization has recorded many physics and mathematics textbooks, originally done on tape and later on computer files. I had volunteered at the Princeton Unit, which was the national headquarters for a number of years; their website at https://learningally.org/ has a lot of resources for blind students.
