Students in both calculus-based and noncalculus-based courses are introduced to the topic of polarization of reflected light.1 In these courses, variation of the level of polarization with angle of incidence and the Brewster angle are often discussed. The apparatus discussed here can demonstrate variation of polarization of reflected light as a function of angle of incidence including maximum polarization at the Brewster angle.
