In our recent article,1 we have noticed a typographical error in the equations appearing in Appendix A, where an extra Δ appears in front of x ′ ≡ d x / d θ and y ′ ≡ d y / d θ in the first three equations. The correct versions of the equations without the extra Δ are as follows:
x θ + Δ θ ≈   x θ + Δ θ · x ′ θ + Δ θ 2 ,
where evaluating x ′ θ + Δ θ / 2 requires approximating x θ + Δ θ / 2 and y θ + Δ θ / 2⁠,
x θ + Δ θ 2 ≈   x θ + Δ θ 2 · x ′ θ ,
y θ + Δ θ 2 ≈   y θ + Δ θ 2 · y ′ θ .
