In our haste to publish the Resource Letter on observing solar eclipses1 in the July issue, the cover image incorrectly identified the image showing the sun's corona as being taken from the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard in 2015. This image is actually a composite image of the 2013 total solar eclipse in Gabon in Central Africa created by Miloslav Druckmullernformed from individual photos taken by Jay M. Pasachoff, Allen B. Davids, and Vojtech Rusin. The images for the composite image of the annular eclipse were taken by Jay M. Pasachoff using a neutral-density 5.0 filter.
