One can download the manual at www.web-tronics.com. Search for PCI-7200. We expect other companies will produce similar ports and the cost will fall.

ADC10461 specifications may be downloaded from www.national.com. These single power supply ADCs convert voltages between VREF−(0 V) and VREF+(5 V). Both chips are wired for Mode 2: C̄hip S̄elect is wired low and the 150-ns convert pulse is connected to both the S̄ample/Hold and R̄eaD̄ inputs. The INT¯errupt outputs (usually called data ready) are not used but could be viewed with convert pulses on an oscilloscope to verify the chip’s operation. The circuit was built on breadboards.

We also built and tested the circuit with a pair of 1-μs bipolar Datel ADS 112 sampling analog-to-digital converters (www.datel.com). We also used 20-μs, bipolar Analog Devices AD573 ADCs (www.analog.com). Upon request we will provide complete circuit diagrams for the logger using these ADCs.

Upon request we will provide a copy of the entire program text.
