The force on a stationary electric charge due to a moving current carrying coil and the torque on a moving current carrying coil due to the electrostatic field of a stationary electric charge can both be interpreted quantitatively by including the effects due to the second order charge distribution on the moving coil predicted by the charge transformations of special relativity.
