In this article, a simple experiment is introduced making astigmatic one‐step rainbow holograms. Unlike the normal astigmatic one‐step rainbow holography, which uses a cylindrical glass lens, this method uses a beaker or a bottle of water instead of a glass cylindrical lens. When the hologram is reconstructed with a white light point source, a clear and wide view of the holographic image is reconstructed.
