We present an elementary situation where the anharmonicity of a periodic motion is related to the vanishing value of the kinetic part at equilibrium. A solid rolling on a horizontal plane and having zero curvature at equilibrium, realizes that condition. This study emphasizes the importance of nonanalytic potential V( x)=xα 1<α<2.
