For the exponentially shielded Coulomb potential, the WKB approximation to the Schrödinger equation has been used to determine N(l), the total number of bound states for a given angular momentum l; NT, the total number of bound levels; and lm, the maximum value of angular momentum l for a bound state. These results are somewhat at variance with previously published results, obtained by other methods.
